I think I remember hearing about Ron Bishop playing in the Army Band. I also remember one of the guys mentioned in the thread mentioning they joined the military bands to avoid being sent to Vietnam while still doing their duty. I would like to know some info about joining the bands during this time.
Patrick Sheridan, while no question one of then best, is not in an orchestra. He doesn't count in this thread.
