I shouldn't post because I've never played the 56J, or the Besson CC. I like the Getzen (only tried one), but the bell is closer to my head than I'm used to. I'm not sure that it would be so great for daily symphony orchestra useage. Obviously, it's a great quintet horn. At the moment, the Besson CC issue is moot. I very much want to try a 56J sometime. People seem to either love them, or get rid of them quickly. Strange. Anyway, the Getzen I tried was a very good horn.
Someone posted that you should go try the Grontiz PCM, and I would definitely concure with that thought. Don't discount the new Alex's either.
