The Meinl Weston overall is not a good instrument for any kind of professional playing. I have yet to find one that is good. I really like the Prestige 2052. If you can find a good one where the valves are in good working order and the trigger mechanism is really in good tact, go with that. It's the best on the market in my opinion if you want to spend that money. The Willson 2950 is a good instrument as well. I prefer the 2900 as the intonation is a little better and you get more of a core sound from the 2900. You should try the Yamaha's. Great instruments. Even better price!
