I first played this piece in college (1978) and feel in love with it. It's still a favorite with every quintet I've ever played with. It's great fun to play for all five voices and very pleasing to listen to from an audience standpoint. I'm not sure if it's ever been recorded "professionally" but I recommend it wholeheartedly (if you don't already own it).
