Brasswind will not be able to some of the UMI Tubas and instruments made. They can carry accessories but not all of the instruments. I am amazed that they can carry the 52 and 56 Conn tubas at all.
The market must be really slow and they need all the sales they can get. I wonder if they are getting them from UMI direct or another dealer. Even though they are not owned anymore by UMI there is a clause when it got bought that they still can not sell to those dealers.
There are rules on advertising and what they can carry on UMI brands.
Long story made short, they sued UMI with outher dealers to try to force them to sell to mail order instead of just normal store front dealers and lost.
