Would you be referring the Yamaha 826? This is the horn on Jim Self's website that he, so fondly calls "Monica". This is Yamaha's attempt to reproduce CSO York's.
The story I heard was that 5 of these horns were made. Jim Self and Norm Pearson each have one. I don't know of the others. These are outstanding horns, but not affordable, or maybe not even available to the general tuba playing public.
