try getting a visualizer...if you dont know what it is, it is just a metal ring the same size of your mouthpiece...it would force you to buzz with out puckering so you can produce sound...you can have one made after you mouthpiece at any brass repair store...practicing with this will help...also buzzing with your mouthpiece and trying to put the least amount of pressure from your lips onto (or into) the mouthpiece... as for excercises on the horn, you could try playing a note(any note) then bending the pitch down by opening your lips then raising it back up, this should give you the feeling of how open your lips should be...thats my two cents...hope it helps
