In my opinion his LSO/Andre recording stands head and shoulder above all others. The interpretation is stunning and the beautiful sound Fletcher gets from his B&H Eb is SO even from top to botttom.
Yes, I've heard many players on the VW.
Fletcher was a genius and it was such a shame he died so young with so much more to offer the Tuba world : (
