I have to say something because I am so impressed - I sent a request to the Marine Band for posters and CD's for my Middle school band program and they delivered in SPADES!
About a month after my request I got a tube with three nice calendar posters in it and a folder with a bunch of stickers, glossy photos, postcards, etc. Then today (About 3 months after my request) I got a big envelope in the mail. I figured I would get 2-3 CD's, 5 at best. Folks, the President's Own sent *19* CD's, including a 10 CD historical retrospective and 9 other single program CD's. DANG!
I would recommend to any and all school employees - get in touch! These are great resources (I am constantly referring to my pictures of the Marine Band for posture and instrument carriage examples) and they're FREE!! IF any Marine Band members read this message - THANK YOU! Your organization's generous contribution to our program will influence young musicians for years to come.
