As I am not doing my arrangements for financial gains, I enjoy the privilege of doing my work in the order, which my ears dictate me to.

This present version is for the 10-piece brass format with an A-piccolo and a D-trumpet playing 2-part embellishments (by K) over the 5 part setting originally for viols.

The 5 tutti parts can be distributed in varying ways by the 8 non-soloing players (please read the preface).

A strong preference by this arranger is represented by the addition of an optional continuo part set for guitar, but playable by other instruments (again: please read the preface).

An alternative version for the 10-piece brass format is stipulated to be issued very soon. Here the soloists, flugelhorn and French horn, will perform the embellishments an octave lower.

If I dared to write a non-soloing euphonium up to D an octave+ above the bass clef system, then the issuing of a version for low conical brasses would be no problem. The soloists then would be a euphonium and a bass tuba. The minimum number of players would be 7. If there are ensembles this strong out there, I am open for input.
