I had to do the opposite when switching to euph after playing trumpet for seven years. Even though it seems like ages ago, there was a time when you had to learn bass clef, with no prior knowledge of any clef. Learning a second clef is a simular process, just take a piece of treble clef music and play the notes in rhythm but REALLY SLOW (play sixteenths as quarters if you have to). It might help to say the note names as you finger them on the instrument, so that you know the names of the notes. Learning to transpose quickly isn't the key, you need to be able to know the notes on the staff and their fingerings, without any mental transposition. Reading only treble clef for a month or so could speed up the process (unless you have to read bass clef for other gigs). Don't worry about forgetting how to play in bass clef, like riding a bicycle, you'll never forget something that's been ingrained in your mind for so long.
