It looks great rick, in fact it is the same mod I did to my tuba years ago, but I might suggest a one small bend in the threaded rod with the sleeve over it. This does two things. It creats the ability for the arm move in the same motion as the natural action of the valve, and also the bend helps keep the outer sllep from vibrating, more so than just tightening down the dubro parts.
I don't have ay pictures of my linkage, but this one is very similar
