In reference to a discussion WAY down the list, I posted the actual tuba players who have been members of the DWS. Wade, you need to brush up on this. (That's what unlacquered brass does to your memory.) See the link below.
Not listed are some fine musicians who, for on reason or another, have not been members but have played with us, I thought I'd correct that.
Most recently, Don Little played making beautiful sounds on a new rose brass 186 (I wouldn't have believed it from such a "small" tuba).
Everett Gilmore played a colossal performance of Trittico some years ago. Stunning power.
Dave Spies, another fine tubist, subbed for me a couple of times.
Surely I have left someone out. Sorry, it's a time thing.
