I've been studying with Roger Behrend for several months and am curious as to others opinions of his teaching methods and of how he compares to other euphonium teachers in the D.C. area. Personally, I find that he some good insights, but he does not like to demonstrate for the student and he tends to dismiss anyone else's opinion regarding playing as B.S. I find this strange considering he studies the Bowman; who was very much into demonstration.
