Which of these is the closest indicator of "market value"?
- an old Eb tuba for sale in the back of a guitar/drums music store with a price tag on it...
- an old Eb tuba displayed on some nationally-oriented brass music store website for a couple of years and not sold...
- an old Eb tuba for sale on an internet auction (assuming a seller with a good reputation) receiving several hundreds "hits" (by those interested in "tuba") within seven days and actually sold for a definite price...
