Have to agree with Rick's comments on this tuba. I have a modified 36J and admit it's quite a struggle to control (physically speaking). But, well worth it. I also have a Yorkbrunner and have to admit, there is very little difference in ease of tone production, fullness, and projection. You get a 6/4 that does it all for half or less the price of a 6/4 CC. There are a few of us left that use BBb's in heavy paying gigs, right James?
