You should try out the brand new model 2040/5 EEb tuba
from Meinl-weston.
It is a fantastic instrument and the first really good rotary valve
EEb tuba that I have played on.
It has a nice sweet sound for an EEb tuba, but can be made to sound
like a big CC tuba when pushed hard.
They have been selling well here in the UK.
And anyone going to the Frankfurt music fair at the end of the month
should be able to try one out there.
