there is a disney all-american COLLEGE band but unfortunately your son would have to wait until college. the band is great. it lasts all summer and every week they bring in two clinicians to work with the band. these clinicians are mostly LA studio players. you also are paid a stipend of about $375 a week plus expenses(apartment and utilities are paid). this money isn't free though. everyday the band performs five half hour sets in the park. the drill is similar to what you might see in "blast" or a low division drum corp (notice i said similar, the drill we do is no where near as intense as either of these groups...but the music is great and so are the players). the musicians in the band are outstanding and it is worth checking out if you don't mind theme park activity and putting on a smile everyday at the "happiest place on earth".
