There have been and are other tuba related BBS, but this one is #1. The old Yahoo TubaEuph forum was #2 until yahoo started in with the banner ads and pages with ads before every fourth posting. Who visits the TubaEuph group now that it move to SmartGroups? I think I've visited the site once or twice in '04.
I, like others, don't need to refinance my mortgage from a Russian company or wowed that I've already won $50 by clicking on a spyware ad. If the ad's music related and not overwhelming, then the new site will be great.
Of course, nothing has replaced the old JW Pepper PNMN BBS. Does anyone else remember Wendy?
