I recently purchased an EEb Reisser tuba in need of some repairs(It is vey old). It has been suggested to me that this instrument may not play at the current standard pitch and that it may not be worth repairing. Does anyone know when Reisser was in business manufacturing tubas? And is it possible that this horn will not play at standard pitch? Any information will be helpful. - Thanks Jim T.
