Man, I know the feeling. When I graduated High School and entered college, I majored in music at Rutgers University for my first 2 1/2 years in college. I switched majors and studied electronic engineering. I now work as an electronic engineer and get paid fairly well. I recommend studying engineer first. It really is interesting to me that so many engineers that I know can play a musical instrument. (I play valve trombone and baritone) I know very few, if any musicians that can do engineering. I really think that you can do both, but I would concentrate on the engineering degree first, since it is much more difficult in terms of mathematics and physics. An engineering degree will help provide a financially secure future, then you could always study music. Good luck, and I hope you will take the more difficult challenge first. Also, pray about your decision.
