Check out the recent posting from Joe S. regarding bags vs cases. He brings up a valid point that I experienced several years ago when I owned a 186 Mirafone. I was very disappointed in the protection the "famous maker" bag gave my horn. I am a case man now! ..And the hard case was cheaper when I baught a new horn!! FWIW.
