What a great audition! The whole process was run fairly. There were 18 people in the semi-finals, about half of which were invited. By the time I was ousted in 5 people had been advanced to the finals with 5 players remaining to play their semi-final round. Everybody had a chance to play and be heard (it was a long day!) I have heard a great deal about unfair auditions lately, but that was not the case here. My regards to the Oregon Symphony, maybe I don't have to hang up my hat just yet!
