I've heard very good things of the TrumCor practice mutes, made by Richard Giangiulio (trumpet) and Greg Hustis (horn) of the Dallas Symphony. I haven't tried one for myself, but I know that they come in a variety of sizes, one being made especially for 6/4 Decks. Last time I checked, the price was about $150, and they do have a practice model.
