I had the privelege of hearing the Dallas Symphony play the Mahler 8th twice this last week. Wow! - what a wonderful concert hall, with a terrific organ. Michael Moore sounded wonderful on his Dillon modified M.W. 2165 (I think). Then again, the whole dang orchestra sound great, and where did they get that string section? just an FYI.
