I'm just tickled with this horn. I think Joe S. could put into a descriptive made-up word the type of sound it gets (you know, Joe, the word you used to describe to me the sound you got out of that Frakenstein you were workin on!). It's got the neatest clean plump full-of-character tone that just grows on you.

I think everyone on the list needs to go try one, when available. It has definately turned heads to this point. I trust it will curb the blanket statements thrown around that if it's not German or Swiss or carry the name of a college professor/tuba jock in the name that it's not worth a toot.

I can't remember the last time I had this much fun practicing!

p.s. Joe S., how bout an update on your projects this summer (Yorks, Frankenstein)! I live down the road from you and am ashamed I haven't been keeping in better touch!
