Inasmuchas it's rare to see any tubas in a non-tuba specific store, I thought I would mention seeing some horns (and buying one) in an Atlanta area store. A man named Emile Baran in Decatur Ga., just outside downtown Atlanta, has some horns in his large, old shop worth seeing to some of you down south. I snagged an old Zeiss F for cheap found in the "back room", where there was also a new BBb Cervany and a Besson BBb or two. Decorating the shops front window was a large Conn bell-front BBb with 4 upright valves (I don't recall the model) that someone out there would enjoy tooting on. He's right behind the courthouse in town there on Clairemont Ave., where he also carries all sorts of strings and other instruments as well. The no. is 404-377-3419.
