Not that I expect my vote to carry a lot of weight but I would like to take a moment to concur with what sam has said. The PT-6 plays pretty good 'out of the box' but if you take some time to learn what it needs it can really sing. I feel that it is capable of doing anything I throw at it as long as I do my part to feed it what it needs. As sam suggested, you basically have to take what your teachers have been banging into your head for years to an extreme to get the most out of the PT-6.

Due to my experiences with this horn I've grown a little suspicious of horns that play too easy. I want to know what I'm sacrificing for that ease of play.

just my two cents,
joseph
