From the braces, mouthpipe brace, lyre holder, and overall size, my best guess is Austrian - much like the tooling for the cheapo student/piston 3/4 Miraphone line (12XX series ??) that appeared first in the very early 1970's. My suspicion is that Miraphone purchased this (or similar) tooling from a factory that was closing or that had closed.
I have seen several very old instruments like the one pictured - some nickel plated - that were most all stamped "Austria".
