Gilbert Long, Principle Tubist of the Nashville Symphony, played the V-W concerto with the Nashville Symphony on his CC Hirsbrunner (HB-2) a couple of years back (1998, I think) and sounded like a god! Play whatever axe you have, and make it sound good.
