Thomas Stevens' Variation on Olden Style is a short, but very nice piece for Tuba and String Orchestra.
Although I have never played Ewazen's concerto with an orchestra, the version for tuba and piano is very nice. It is scored with a lot of percussion, and a person who heard the piece with a orchestra said it was really cool.
