Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of this board,
As Vice President of International Relations for ITEA I am seeking folks interested in hosting regional tuba-euphonium conferences in 2003. ITEA will host international conferences in 2001 (Lahti, Finland) and in 2002 (University of North Carolina). The ITEA Executive Committee has decided to name 2003 a year of regional tuba-euphonium conferences so that all folks world-wide will be able to attend a conference (relatively) close to their homes. Ideally we would like to host four in the USA : Nothwest, Southwest, Northeast, and Southeast. We would also like to have at least two in Europe. TubaMania will cover Asia/ Australia/ Oceana. Any volunteers for conference hosts for 2003 may email me privately, Any ideas that you feel should be shared with our community please post your resonse/ opinions on this board. TubaMania will host another TubaMania Conference in 2003 from December 16-20.
