The Besson 765 has a great tone and is easy to play. The large shank receiver and 4th side valve are a definite plus (the ONLY non-comp. euph that has both of those). I've only played on two, but both were out of tune. Alot of folks like em, so try a bunch, and pick the one that is the most in tune.

BTW, I played a GREAT Kanstul euph at NABBA. This model was like a Yamaha 321 with large shank receiver and a large bell. Supposedly they are gonna offer a 4th side valve as an option in the future. AND...yea verily, they are doing research on the possibility to make a compensating euphonium....that's right folks, and it will be made 100% in the U.S.A.

That should be interesting.
