Courtois has a reputation her in Denmark to be made along extraordinarily high standards. But also to be very expensive.
Even if the illustration on the page linked by Chuck is not very clear, it reveals a variation on the standard French design pattern of the tuning slide in the leadpipe.
Now one can have a moveable tilted tuning slide for on the fly maipulations by the left thumb. If some sort of stop mechanism (allowing a sure returning to the basic tuning to the ensemble) had been added, a quite ideal situation would have been achieved.
