As far as euphoniumists are concerned, the best I've heard live or on cd in my opinion would have to be Jukka Myllys. Check out his cd, entitled Finnish Euphonium. The Linkola concerto is amazing. Also a number of cds by Steven Mead are outstanding, including his world of the euphonium series, and several others with brass and concert bands. I don't think anyone in the states can touch these two at the moment.
