That's a possibility, but I'm specifically refering to definite flaws in the machining of the rotors. For example, when I wipe them dry, some fuzz snags on the edge of the rotor, and you can feel a lip there on all of the valves, some more so than others.

Assuming that the rotors are the correct ones for the horn, will cleaning up the flaws make a dramatic difference? Methinks yes, but not for sure. Pardon my artwork, but the problem is where you see the "x's".
