one made by Mahillon, I will probably never know (or really

the time) it was hard to pass up.

There actually was no "original" mouthpiece with the instrument.
The shop I purchased it from didn't really know what should be
used with it, hence the manufactured shank adaptor which was
included.

I have had the instrument since last December, and I experiment with
it as time permits. As a tubist, it is great fun to use when I teach
euph lessons. My students love it. Hopefully, I will find more time
to grow into it. As for Bydlo, yes, it is fairly easy on the "French C",
but I still like tooting it on my old Alexander F. It's a more
satisfying voice to me. No conductors have complained yet. Knock on wood.
