Dave,
Direct questions to an individual are best kept off a BBS. To modify a B.E.R.P. to fit different receivers, you may need to fit some extra plastic around the shank that will let it seat in larger receivers. Anyone wishing to use a B.E.R.P. on something like a MW 2165 or Alexander 163, will have that problem. Take a thin piece of flexable plastic and cut it to wrap around the shank of the B.E.R.P and glue it if desired. You can wrap a piece of paper around first and run a razor through it where the two ends overlap. Trim the top and bottom and now you have a template. This is like cutting a new cork to go around the bottom of a mute. I hope that may be useful to a few readers on this list.
Matt
