Dr. William Wakefield.

He has just been named as Director of Bands at the University of Oklahoma. He is one of those conductors that just has a natural ability for getting the most out of his ensemble. He can do more conducting with his face than most can do with their entire body. If anybody wants to study conducting, this is absolutely someone to consider as a mentor. He can not only tell you what makes sense musically, but why.
