Fountains of Rome

Heldenleben- Practice all of it

Ein Faust Overture

Bruckner 7- 1st, 2nd, and 4th Movements

1812- the "bangy" section in the beginning

Prokofiev 6th- weird choice, but the section in the 1st movement where you have to pop off alot of low stuff and then play REAL lyrically bears looking at.

Mahler 2- last movement fast stuff and the big chorale.

Cloudburst from Grand Canyon Suite- I just have a funny feeling someone is going to discover that this piece is a bear and ask it someday.

As with Joe's comments, these are departures only. Your playing will get better and an archival tape will hinder more than help you. Good luck and good practicing.
