I'd recommend that you listen before you buy if you can. Personally, I can't stand Stokowski's arrangements of anything (sorry - including Pictures), as they all sound alike. Also - have you listened closely to any orchestra under Stokowski? The sound is sloppy at best. Check out "Fantasia" (the original) & marvel at his "technique." Sure, that was staged, but could YOU follow his flailing?
