I hope this doesn't break the rules of TubeNet but I would like to post a small advertisement. Some of you may already know this, but I work at Hickey's Music Center (www.hickeys.com) in Ithaca, NY. We recently received a WONDERFUL Conn 56J in Satin silver. The reason for my post is to let the tuba community know that there is another source for this horn. Those of you who live in Central NY and Northeastern Pennsylvania would find that Hickey's is a rather short trip. Feel free to visit our website (the tuba is not on the site yet) or call 1-800-HICKEYS and inquire about the Conn 56J tuba.
I would also like to mention that we just started carrying CDs of Roger Bobo, Velvet Brown, and a few others.
