Howdy, Heather. I just got done with all of that scholarship turmoil... I'll give you a BIG hint- www.fastweb.com. There are scholarships out the wazoo on there. Just about every local fast food and department store have scholarships to give too. I know McDonald's and Wendy's have $$$ to give away.
Also, get your mom or dad to sit down with you at the computer and fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Financial Student Aid). You'll need a parent for all the income and income tax information. The website is www.fafsa.ed.gov. Depending on how much taxable income your parents make in a year, the government could pay for a good chunk of college.
Finally, always check your counselor's office. Bug 'em to death about scholarships and whatnot. Apply for things you don't think you'd get... chances are most other people think the same way. I hope this helps some... don't get too stressed about $$$!! Everything will work out in the end! =^)
