Get the book. Learn the book. Love it. Learn teble clef. No big deal. Then seek out Maestro Bobo out for either a private lesson or attend on of his masterclasses. After hearing him explain and describe his exercises in person you will have a completely new perspective on them. I studied with Maestro Bobo for one year and the first two months were spent solely on exercises from his book that constitute his "warm up". A year and half later I still use 75% of these exercises in my daily routine and when I need a good chalenge I go through the entire "warm up". I really think that every tubist should get this book. It's only the beginning.
