It's working great. At the GMEA All-state band last weekend, Ray Cramer asked a few of us (not being specific) to take the last note down, an Eb below the staff to the one below it. I and a few other people took it down and he asked who played it and went down the line. I played it, then the next guy, then the next guy played an E natural (!!) . He pointed to me and said "Okay, I only want you taking it down for now." I was very impressed with myself because I wasn't as sure about my low range as I was rest of it. I was a little smug. :-)
