Have you played a front action 4 valve short action horn, or did you mean to say front action arther than shotr action? I am curious because I have never actually seen a front action 4 valve Conn with short action valves, and am interested if anyone has actually seen one of these.
Also, the original upright bells for these were actually 24", not 22" and they are one piece, not 2 pieces like the recording bells. I have heard people say that they think that the 24" bell is too large, but I like the way it plays and it certainly makes a statement.
