If the slide isn't being pulled to the brink of being pulled out, then you might need to have the slide lightly buffed. And for lubrication, use a heavier oil, more like a key oil. Also, be sure to keep the moving parts on the trigger lubed. I like Super Slick Key and Rotor oil. Its not thin enough (i don't think) for rotors themselfs, but not as thick as most key oils.
