Some claification on the bore? I have a 1938 King catalog showing this horn (see my post below) which says the medium bore version has the standard King .687 bore and the large bore version .750. All the King literature I've sheen shows King using only three bore sizes for basses: .620 (the little Ebs,
bBbs and the BBb Cadet sousaphone), .687 (monster Eb, most BBb basses, the 1240/1241 series and the 'standard 1250' sousaphones) and .750 (the Giant sousaphone, the large bore rotary bases with either fixed upright or removable forward bell, and the large bore version of the tall pit bass)
