The MW 2000 is lighter in weight, because of the hand-hammered large bows. The playing characteristics are quite a bit different from the MW 2155. I find the MW 2000 is more of a finesse horn. It speaks really easy, with a minimum of air. The MW 2155, being a heavier horn may withstand larger volumes of air and achieve a louder dynamic level. As far as intonation goes, I have been able to set the slides on the MW 2000 so that I don't have to move them while playing. This allows for a comfortable left hand position, and the upswept windpipe on the MW 2000 also seems to contribute to the good ergonomics.
