"Effie Goes to the Carnival" from Alec Wilder's Effie suite is fun, short, entertaining, not terribly hard, and definitely not boring. I in fact was going to do it my senior year (our school had a similar talent show thing) but I couldn't find a pianist that was free that evening.
So our brass quintet did Holst's 2nd Suite instead ;-)
